Delta Sound was called upon again to liaise with the BBC broadcast department for this year's Jazz Awards at the Mermaid Theatre, London. With previous years providing a wealth of talent and experience with its winners, this promised to be just as exciting. One of the highlights of this year's event was of Dave Brubeck playing live via satellite from the states with the BBC big band, which had its own synchronizations issues as you can imagine. Delta sound provided all the event sound and infrastructure for the invited audience with all splits going to the exterior BBC outside broadcast truck. Winners included: Dave Brubeck, Curtis Stigers, Madeleine Peyroux & Finn Peters Finntet.
