Delta Sound recently provided a full audio system for Lodestar Ltd for this years Philips Simplicity event at Earls Court.
The three-day event showcased to a select group of customers, business partners, healthcare professionals and public sector representatives its vision of how in five years the clever use of technology married with intuitive, personalized design can lead to unexpected approaches to caring for people's well-being at home, in the hospital and on the move.
Lodestar contracted Delta Sound to deliver these values and provide all audio solutions for the show. The whole event was based around the guests experience with a large reveal sequence, demonstration areas and a theatre space that opened up to reveal a fully fitted Philips High street complete with coffee shops, bistro and even a human statue!
Delta also took in a lead in the audio design by working with Lodestar and their composer to produce a custom Soundscape for the High street revel sequence to add the extra sense of realism whilst the guests worked their way down the various attractions.
With a number of different audio zones, multiple control positions were installed and a sound department appointed to manage the day to day events within the show.
The show ran for three days and to over two thousand invited audience and press members. The event ran extremely well with talk already of trying to better it for next year.
