Delta Sound is a leading supplier of audio and communication systems to the events market. We have over 25 years experience in projects ranging in size and complexity, from small AGM’s to international sport and public events.
We are seeking to engage a System Administrator to join our dynamic team, based in south-west London, with offices in Dubai and Qatar. As a Systems Administrator you will be responsible for providing Infrastructure support across the organisation, including involvement within various project teams from time to time.
Experience of all the following and ideally an MCSE or MCSA in one or more:
- Windows Server 2008 R2
- Exchange Server 2007, 2010
- SQL Server 2005, 2008
- Windows XP, Windows 7
- MS Office 2007, 2010
Additionally, experience of as many of the following as possible:
- Symantec AntiVirus CE
- Symantec Backup Exec
- Sage Line 200, Sage Payroll
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Hyper-V, iSCSI, RAID
- Remote deployment, Group Policy
- VPNs, Remote access, Remote Desktop Server
- Hardware installation and maintenance
- LAN, WAN, Networking, IPv6, Routers, Switches, Cabling
- Apple OS/X
- Mobile devices, Blackberry Enterprise Server
- Telecoms, VoIP, POTS
- Licence management
- KPI reporting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels, a can-do attitude, and flexibility are key to this role. A good sense of humour and the ability to work under pressure are also desirable. If you are looking for a regimented 9-5 post with structure and formality, then this is probably not the job for you.
Remuneration package includes company laptop and mobile telephone; pension scheme after qualifying period; 4 weeks paid annual leave; + healthy salary according to experience.
