Going Underground

With a surprise birthday party in the planning the Unique Events team at Delta Sound were bought in by White Light Events to provide a total audio package at the Under Globe on the South bank recently. With Aerial artists and a number of different bands culminating in an hour long set from Lemar followed by DJ Spoony, the surprised birthday boy was bowled over with his party.  A total transformation of the venue under White Lights Events saw beautiful colours and textures coming together to turn the space around into a feel of luxury and sophistication. The event was a real success and puts the Under Globe onto the ever busy events scene.

Cape Kensington

The Science museum was recently turned into Cape Canaveral for the lift off, of this years Siemens Customer Awards. The opening sequence called for the recreation of mission control and the launch platform of the old rockets. Delta Sound were contracted to not only provide audio support for the awards evening but to also  design a specific soundscape to a pre edited video sequence for the opening  of the awards. This involved not only the countdown and lift off, of a rocket on stage but also the space walk across the invited guests heads by the Siemens CEO.  The whole event ran to perfection with Siemens personnel thoroughly enjoying their evening. Private Drama, the event organisers were also over the moon with their praise and are already looking forward to next years event.

Oriental Surprise

Delta Sound were approached by The Admirable Crichton to support them with a private party at the Mandarin Oriental. The 60th birthday had some two hundred invited guests and involved turning the ballroom around and into a theatre space complete with proscenium arch and red swaged theatre curtains. Acts on the night included: The Puppini Sisters, Omid Djalili and Jamie Cullum performing solo.(at times even without the piano) Delta provided full audio support throughout the event and guest were dancing through until the early hours. Delta Sound's team managed the event from start to finish working along side Admirable Crichton’s lighting and production teams.

Join the Queue for Kew

Delta sound recently supplied and installed a number of audio systems at Kew Gardens for a one off event for Banque AIG. With the ice rink complete and not yet open to the public the whole area from the entrance through to the Temperate House was wonderfully lit to welcome in the clients and their children. Upon arriving at the ice rink they were all treated to a bespoke ice show and then rink time for the parents and children to enjoy the space. Delta Sound provides Full audio and wireless repeated communications for the site and worked along side Kew Gardens Event Team and policed the stringent noise levels over the build and performance period.

Chicago thoughout London

When approached to perform a reduced high impact version of Chicago at a number of prestigious venues around London, Delta Sound was thrilled to get involved. Working for Private Drama Events, the piece has now been performed through numerous venues including: The Guildhall, One Piccadilly, Bloomsbury Ballroom, The Royal Opera House and so on. The event proves so popular that Private Drama are already working on booking well into next year. From an audio perspective the show is constantly changing with regards to the various challenges within the venues. This is the fun part and one that Delta look to rise to with its large hire inventory of systems and applications.
